IBA official cocktail, Contemporary Classics. Rum based, shaken, served in a highball.
Ingredients
| Jamaican rum | 45 ml (1½ oz) |
| Gold rum | 45 ml (1½ oz) |
| Demerara rum 151 | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Falernum | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Lime juice | 20 ml (¾ oz) |
| Donn's mix | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Grenadine | 1 teaspoon |
| Angostura bitters | 1 dash |
| Absinthe | 6 drops |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice in a highball.
- Garnish with mint sprig.
