My Bar Bible / Privacy
Privacy
My Bar Bible is run by Novo Web Build, Thessaloniki, Greece. This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use the site.
What stays on your device
Your saved drinks, the ingredients in My bar, your house recipes, costing prices and settings such as ml or oz are stored only in your own browser. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
What you send us
When you use a form (commission a menu, license a signature drink, suggest a missing drink) we receive what you type: usually your name, email, venue, city and message. We use it only to answer you and to deliver what you asked for. Form messages are stored by our host, Netlify, and kept for up to 24 months, or less if you ask us to delete them. We never sell or share your details for advertising.
Payments
When payments open, they will be handled by the payment provider shown at checkout, under its own privacy policy. We never see or store card details.
No tracking
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and when a drink has a photo from Unsplash, the image loads from Unsplash. Like any website, those services receive your IP address to deliver the file.
How to delete your data
This applies to the My Bar Bible website and the My Bar Bible app on Google Play.
- Email mybarbible@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data", from the email address you used in the form.
- We delete everything you sent us through our forms (your name, email address and message) within 30 days and reply to confirm.
- Saved drinks, My bar, house recipes and settings are stored only on your device. To delete them, clear the app's storage or your browser's site data for mybarbible.com.
What we keep: nothing from the forms once deleted. Only if you paid us (a licence or a commission), the invoice is kept for as long as Greek tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you have sent us by emailing mybarbible@gmail.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
