Jungle Bird
IBA official cocktail, New Era. Rum based, shaken, served in a rocks glass.
Kuala Lumpur Hilton, 1978. Campari in a tiki drink, and it works.
Ingredients
| Blackstrap rum | 45 ml (1½ oz) |
| Campari | 22.5 ml (¾ oz) |
| Pineapple juice | 45 ml (1½ oz) |
| Lime juice | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Demerara syrup | 15 ml (½ oz) |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with pineapple wedge.
