Zobo

The Zobo is an alcohol-free drink from Nigeria. It is made with Sorrel (hibiscus) drink and pineapple juice, served in a highball over ice.

West Africa’s hibiscus drink, steeped with ginger and pineapple. The same flower as Jamaican sorrel.

Ingredients

Sorrel (hibiscus) drink200 ml (6¾ oz)
Pineapple juice30 ml (1 oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a highball with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
  4. Garnish with pineapple wedge.
