Whisky Mac

The Whisky Mac is a built whiskey cocktail from the UK and Ireland. It is made with blended scotch and ginger wine, served in a rocks glass.

Strength: about 29% ABV in the glass, roughly 17 g of alcohol per drink (an estimate; brands and dilution vary).

Scotch and ginger wine, the Scottish winter warmer, usually without ice.

Ingredients

Blended Scotch45 ml (1½ oz)
Ginger wine30 ml (1 oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
