Kentucky Buck
Whiskey based, shaken, served in a highball.
Ingredients
| Strawberries | 1 piece |
| Bourbon | 45 ml (1½ oz) |
| Lemon juice | 22.5 ml (¾ oz) |
| Simple syrup | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Angostura bitters | 1 dash |
| Ginger beer | top up, about 60 ml |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Muddle the strawberry in a shaker.
- Add the bourbon, lemon, syrup and bitters and shake with ice.
- Strain over fresh ice and top with ginger beer.
