Somaek

Wine based, built, served in a highball.

Korea’s table drink: soju and maekju. Three parts soju to seven of beer is the ratio most people agree on.

Ingredients

Soju60 ml (2 oz)
Lager140 ml (4¾ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Pour the soju into a chilled glass.
  2. Top with cold lager.
  3. Stir once with a spoon, or tap the glass to make it foam.
