Skinny Margarita

The Skinny Margarita is a shaken agave cocktail from Mexico, fresh and citrusy. It is made with tequila blanco, lime juice and agave syrup, served in a rocks glass over ice.

The lighter Margarita: no orange liqueur, just tequila, lime and a touch of agave.

Ingredients

Tequila blanco50 ml (1¾ oz)
Lime juice30 ml (1 oz)
Agave syrup10 ml (¼ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
  2. Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
  3. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with salt rim and lime wheel.
