Radler

Wine based, built, served in a highball.

Bavaria, 1920s, made for cyclists. In the north of Germany the same drink is called an Alsterwasser.

Ingredients

Lager250 ml (8¼ oz)
Lemonade250 ml (8¼ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a highball with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
