Prescription Julep
Brandy based, muddled, served in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
| Mint leaves | 6 sprigs |
| Demerara syrup | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Cognac | 45 ml (1½ oz) |
| Rye whiskey | 15 ml (½ oz) |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Press the mint gently into the syrup in the cup.
- Add both spirits and fill with crushed ice.
- Stir until the cup frosts, then crown with ice and mint.
