Mint Julep
IBA official cocktail, Contemporary Classics. Whiskey based, muddled, served in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
| Mint leaves | 4 sprigs |
| Sugar | 1 teaspoon |
| Water | 2 teaspoons |
| Bourbon | 60 ml (2 oz) |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Gently press the mint with the sugar and water in the cup.
- Fill with crushed ice and add the bourbon.
- Stir until the cup frosts over, then crown with more ice and mint.
