The Kopstootje is a shot from Central Europe. It is made with Jenever and lager, served in a shot glass.

The Dutch little headbutt: a brim-full jenever and a beer chaser.

Ingredients

Jenever35 ml (1¼ oz)
Lager250 ml on the side

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a tulip glass with jenever right to the brim.
  2. Bend down and take the first sip without lifting it.
  3. Then drink it alongside a small cold beer.
