IBA official cocktail, The Unforgettables. Rum based, shaken, served in a coupe.

Named after a mining town near Santiago de Cuba. Three ingredients and nowhere to hide.

Ingredients

White rum60 ml (2 oz)
Lime juice20 ml (¾ oz)
Simple syrup10 ml (¼ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
  2. Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
