Apricot Sour

The Apricot Sour is a dry shaken brandy cocktail, fresh and citrusy. It is made with apricot brandy, lemon juice, simple syrup and more, served in a coupe.

Ingredients

Apricot brandy60 ml (2 oz)
Lemon juice25 ml (¾ oz)
Simple syrup10 ml (¼ oz)
Egg white20 ml (¾ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Shake everything without ice for 10 seconds to whip the egg white.
  2. Add ice and shake hard again.
  3. Double strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish with orange peel.
