IBA official cocktail, New Era. Whiskey based, stirred, served in a coupe.
Ingredients
| Irish whiskey | 50 ml (1¾ oz) |
| Sweet vermouth | 25 ml (¾ oz) |
| Green Chartreuse | 15 ml (½ oz) |
| Angostura bitters | 2 dashes |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Add everything to a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
- Stir until very cold, about 30 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Garnish with orange peel.
