Šumadija Tea

The Šumadija Tea is a built brandy cocktail from Eastern Europe and Balkans. It is made with Plum rakija, served in a copper mug.

Serbia’s winter warmer. It is called tea, and contains none.

Ingredients

Water100 ml (3¼ oz)
Sugar2 teaspoons
Plum rakija40 ml (1¼ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Caramelise the sugar lightly in a small pot.
  2. Add the water and rakija and warm it through without boiling.
  3. Serve hot in a mug.
