Southside Royale

The Southside Royale is a shaken gin cocktail, fresh and citrusy and long and fizzy. It is made with mint leaves, gin, lime juice and more, served in a coupe.

Ingredients

Mint leaves8 leaves
Gin45 ml (1½ oz)
Lime juice22.5 ml (¾ oz)
Simple syrup15 ml (½ oz)
Champagnetop up, about 60 ml

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
  2. Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish with mint leaf.
