Soumada

The Soumada is an alcohol-free drink from Greece. It is made with orgeat, served in a highball over ice.

Almond syrup and cold water, served at weddings in Crete, the Ionian islands and Cyprus.

Ingredients

Orgeat40 ml (1¼ oz)
Water200 ml (6¾ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a highball with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
