Pink Gin

The Pink Gin is a stirred gin cocktail, spirit-forward. It is made with Angostura bitters and gin, served in a coupe.

The Royal Navy officers’ drink, from when Angostura was carried as a remedy for seasickness.

Ingredients

Angostura bitters3 dashes
Gin60 ml (2 oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Swirl the bitters around a chilled glass to coat it.
  2. Stir the gin over ice until very cold.
  3. Strain into the coated glass.
