Liqueur based, built, served in a highball.

Marseille, 1932. The ratio of one to five is the whole recipe.

Ingredients

Pastis25 ml (¾ oz)
Water125 ml (4¼ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Pour the pastis into a tall glass.
  2. Add ice-cold water, about five parts, and watch it turn cloudy.
  3. Add ice last, never first.
