Cosmonaut

The Cosmonaut is a shaken gin cocktail, fresh and citrusy. It is made with gin, lemon juice and Raspberry jam, served in a coupe.

Strength: about 21% ABV in the glass, roughly 19 g of alcohol per drink (an estimate; brands and dilution vary).

Ingredients

Gin60 ml (2 oz)
Lemon juice22.5 ml (¾ oz)
Raspberry jam1 barspoon

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
  2. Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
