Beton

Liqueur based, built, served in a highball.

Created for the Czechoslovak pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal. BEcherovka plus TONic, and the Czech word for concrete.

Ingredients

Becherovka40 ml (1¼ oz)
Tonic watertop up, about 100 ml

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a highball with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
  4. Garnish with lemon slice.
