Vissinada

The Vissinada is an alcohol-free drink from Greece. It is made with sour cherry syrup, served in a highball over ice.

Greek sour cherry syrup with ice-cold water. Every Greek grandmother’s summer drink.

Ingredients

Sour cherry syrup40 ml (1¼ oz)
Water200 ml (6¾ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a highball with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
