Trash Can

The Trash Can is a built vodka cocktail, made with vodka, white rum, gin and more, served in a highball over ice. It is sparkling.

Strength: about 9.8% ABV in the glass, roughly 19 g of alcohol per drink (an estimate; brands and dilution vary).

A party drink: the open energy drink can is turned upside down into the glass and left to drain.

Ingredients

Vodka15 ml (½ oz)
White rum15 ml (½ oz)
Gin15 ml (½ oz)
Blue curaçao15 ml (½ oz)
Peach schnapps15 ml (½ oz)
Energy drinktop up, about 150 ml

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Fill a highball with ice.
  2. Pour the ingredients in order, topping last.
  3. Lift once gently with a barspoon.
  4. Garnish with an upturned can of energy drink.
