Ouzo with Water

Liqueur based, built, served in a rocks glass.

Served with meze, sipped slowly, never as a shot.

Ingredients

Ouzo40 ml (1¼ oz)
Water40 ml (1¼ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Pour the ouzo into a small glass.
  2. Add cold water and let it turn milky white.
  3. Add an ice cube only after the water, or it crystallises.
