Negroni
IBA official cocktail, The Unforgettables. Gin based, stirred, served in a rocks glass.
An Americano with gin in place of soda, first poured for Count Camillo Negroni in Florence around 1919.
Ingredients
| Gin | 30 ml (1 oz) |
| Campari | 30 ml (1 oz) |
| Sweet vermouth | 30 ml (1 oz) |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Add everything to a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
- Stir until very cold, about 30 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with half orange slice.
