Gold Rush
Whiskey based, shaken, served in a rocks glass.
T.J. Siegal, Milk and Honey, New York, early 2000s. A Whiskey Sour with honey in place of sugar.
Ingredients
| Bourbon | 60 ml (2 oz) |
| Honey syrup | 22.5 ml (¾ oz) |
| Lemon juice | 22.5 ml (¾ oz) |
Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.
Method
- Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
