Frosé

The Frosé is a blended cocktail, fresh and citrusy. It is made with rosé wine, strawberry purée, lemon juice and more, served in a wine glass over crushed ice.

The frozen rosé that took over New York summers in 2016.

Ingredients

Rosé wine150 ml (5 oz)
Strawberry purée30 ml (1 oz)
Lemon juice15 ml (½ oz)
Simple syrup15 ml (½ oz)

Measures for one serve. Open the drink in Bar Bible to scale it to a batch or switch to ounces.

Method

  1. Freeze the rosé in an ice tray for at least six hours.
  2. Blend the frozen rosé with the strawberry purée, lemon and syrup until slushy.
  3. Serve straight away in a chilled wine glass.
