Pharisäer in a copper mug, drawn with its ingredient layers

Pharisäer

The Pharisäer is a built rum cocktail from Central Europe, creamy. It is made with dark rum, hot coffee and fresh cream, served in a copper mug.

Strength: about 7.0% ABV in the glass, roughly 13 g of alcohol per drink (an estimate; brands and dilution vary).

From North Frisia in Germany. The cream hid the rum from a strict pastor, who called the guests Pharisees when he found out.
